SKI & SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS All instructors are required to be come certified by Professional Snow Sport Instructors of America (PSIA) with in one year after joining our Instructors Staff. Blizzards believe in educating our instructor to help them achieve certification and to be the best instructors. We provide dry land and on snow training free to all our instructors. Your pay is based on the number of years with Blizzards and your PSIA Certification level. Each year a young Instructor still attending school will be awarded for their exceptional advancement in their training. This young Instructor is award the “DOC Smith” Education fund. As with many Ski and Snowboard Schools if an Instructor falls, there is a fee to be paid. Blizzard takes this a step farther as Instructors contribute to the “FALL FUND”. They are given a raffles ticket for a drawing that is held at our End of the Season Banquet. A check is made out to PSIA and handed over to the winner to be used for PSIA events or materials.. SUPERVISOR STAFF Supervising is often the first step to becoming involved with Blizzards excellent staff. We have positions open for Table Supervisors, Mini Supervisors and Check In and Out Supervisors. Our Ski and Snowboard School is growing fast. We are looking for Adults who are committed can present a positive experience for our new and returning members.
